Sometimes it’s all summed up in a name: Superyacht describes a large vessel designed for pleasure with excellence in all its features. Spirit is that quality that emanates from the soul; it can be gentle, adventurous, calming, or exciting and Superyacht Spirit embodies them all.
Spirit is a relatively new 178-foot luxury motor yacht with sleek lines and comfortable ocean going capabilities. Spirit can cruise almost anywhere, from Alaska to the Mediterranean or the Caribbean in style with speeds up to 15.5 knots. In the 2016/17 season, Spirit will be seen gracing the beautiful waters of the British Virgin Islands.
Spirit boasts vast exterior deck spaces with comfortable over-sized deck furniture. The open plan sundeck with Teppanyaki grill offers al fresco dining with the chef preparing sumptuous dishes at your table. There’s a bar with granite counters and gentle breezes with panoramic views accompanying your dining pleasure. The sundeck also sports gym equipment and a Jacuzzi complete with lounging pads. A dedicated spa treatment room is also available and a professional masseuse is on call.
For those who love a great movie, a concert, or perhaps the latest documentary, the sky lounge is equipped with a state of the art audio/visual system with an 85” plasma screen.
The interior is light, bright, and airy with a modern design reflecting clean and simple Asian inspired Zen-like features. There are five guest cabins with the master suite offering an expansive bathroom, a large luxurious emperor-size bed, lounge, an office area, and a dressing room. The three other doubles are beautifully styled in soft Oriental fashion with light harmonious wood and fabrics to complement. A twin bed cabin and a Pullman make up the accommodations for a party of eleven. There’s a professional crew of 13 to cater to your every desire.
For those with excitement and adventure in mind, Spirit has no shortage of opportunities. A tropical cruise is often highlighted by the underwater world and the BVI shines in this department. Spirit has recently added a 36-foot cabin cruiser—the Arch Angel Safe Boat—to its inventory, and what better way to zip out to those special snorkel sights, interesting caves, or shallow lagoons. Another highlight is the 23-foot slide. Imagine this fun ride culminating in a thrilling splash into the warm Caribbean water.
If your excitement hasn’t been raised yet, think about an exhilarating ride on a Seabob with only you at the controls, speeding on top and beneath the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. For those who would try their hand at harnessing the wind, Spirit has windsurfers available. And if all this has not yet satiated your appetite for fun, perhaps a spot of water skiing would fit the bill. The water toys are seemingly endless on this remarkable yacht.
A unique feature of the activities offered on Spirit, is a day of Olympic sports on a fabulous sandy beach carefully selected by the captain. The crew set up the events and the focus is all about fun. Refreshments or lunch may be set up on the beach – perhaps a delightful picnic under shade umbrellas.
A cruise on Superyacht Spirit has been described as an experience of Zen, and a way to think of Zen is that of a total state of focus; a togetherness of body and mind. The on-board facilities of Spirit lend themselves to rest, relaxation, and harmony. Conversely, the water sports and activities are there to invigorate, stimulate, and provide excitement and fun. What a combination!
