RBVIYC NEWS

Are you all having a good summer? Been away to regattas or sailing with the family? We want to know. We are running a small competition for the best story about your sailing based travels. It could be your log, it could be a trip report, it could be the first time at summer camp. The top three will be published in the newsletter and displayed in the club.

This week is the last summer camp and after school sailing starts on the Tuesday 11 September but we are having a BACK TO SCHOOL regatta on Sat 8 and Sun 9 September. It is open to all dinghy sailors but we expect most to be under 19. If you can help out, drive a rib, provide beach support or even make drinks please let Chris and I know. Saturday night there is a disco for the sailors from 5.30pm with sign up for the autumn programme. The disco is free for sailors who are at the regatta or took part in a summer camp. Other children are welcome but $2.

The club is open it’s regular hours with lunch from Tues – Sun and Dinner Tues – Fri. This week Stefan is quiz master on Wednesday, Thursday is Sushi. If you are interested in becoming a Sushi roller please contact Nancy freckle@surfbvi.com.
