1. ORGANISING AUTHORITY: The Organising Authority (OA) will be the Royal BVI Yacht Club
2. VENUE: The venue will be in Nanny Cay, British Virgin Islands.
3. EVENT GRADING: The event has applied for ISAF Grade WC4
This grading is subject to review by the ISAF Match Race Rankings Sub Committee. The event may be re-graded when there is clear reason to do so.
4. PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME:
4.1. (a) Registration from Friday Oct1st 6:30-7:30pm at the Royal BVI Yacht Club, Road Reef Marina, Tortola
(b) Crew weighing at registration or at 9:00am October 2 for visiting teams not able to arrive the night before.
(c) Practice boats will be available for a maximum of 3 hours practice on Oct1st if required

4.2. Unless excused by the OA, attendance at the following is mandatory:

(a) Initial briefing for skippers will be in Nanny Cay. Time to be announced.
(b) Daily press conferences, for skippers sailing that day immediately after racing.
5. SKIPPERS ELIGIBILITY:
(a) Eight to Ten skippers will be invited. Only skippers invited by the OA will be eligible to enter this event.
(b) The registered skipper shall helm the boat at all times while racing, except in an emergency.
(c) A non-refundable entry bond of $US 100
(d) All competitors shall meet the eligibility requirements of ISAF regulation 19.2. shall accompany the acceptance of invitation for this to be valid.
(e) All competitors shall obtain an ISAF Sailor ID by registering online at www.sailing.org/isafsailor. Skippers shall inform the OA of their ISAF Sailor ID at registration.
6. ENTRIES:
6.1. The skipper.
6.2. Entry Fee shall be entered on completion of registration, crew weighing and the payment of all fees and deposits. All payments shall be made by credit card, or cheque in US Dollars.
The entry fee for the event will be $200. It shall be comprised of the non-refundable entry fee bond of $US 100, plus a US$100 fee that will be paid at registration. IC24 owners allowing the OA to use their boats shall only need to pay the non-refundable entry bond.
6..3 Damage deposit.
(a) An initial damage deposit of $US 500
(b) In the event of a deduction from the damage deposit is decided by the OA it may require that the deposit be restored to its original amount before the skipper will be permitted to continue in the event. shall be paid at registration, unless extended by the OA. This deposit is the maximum payable by the skipper as a result of any one incident.
(c) Any remaining deposit after the event will be refunded within 10 days after the event.
7. RULES:
(a) The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the RRS, and including Appendix C.
(b) The rules for the handling of boats will apply, and will also apply to any practice sailing and sponsor races. Class rules will not apply.
(c) Any prescriptions of the national authority that will apply shall be posted on the official notice board.
8. BOATS AND SAILS:
(a) The event will be sailed in IC24 type boats.
(b) Boats will be provided by the OA.
(c) The following sails will be provided for each boat:

9. CREW (INCLUDING SKIPPER):
(a) The number of crew (including the skipper) shall be four.

10. EVENT FORMAT:
(a) Skippers will be divided into two/three/four groups based on seeding/draw/results in previous competition/ISAF ranking list 30 days prior to the event

(c) The OA may change the format, terminate or eliminate any round, when conditions do not permit the completion of the intended format.

11. COURSE:
(a) The course will be windward/leeward with starboard roundings, finishing downwind.

Entries will only be accepted from invited skippers. If you wish to be invited please register your request for an invitation as soon as possible with the OA by completing the attached form.
