It was an interesting start this morning in San Francisco. Unlike the previous race where we saw New Zealand Team Emirates and Italy’s team Luna Rossa starting within nanoseconds of each other, today LR had some unidentified pre-start issues that ultimately left Luna Rossa several boat lengths behind the Louis Vuitton Cup favorite Team New Zealand at the starting line. Things only got worse from there for LR.
