The Ministry of Education and Culture and New Direction Consultancy are inviting the general public to a series of public meetings to gather public opinion on the establishment of drag car racing in the Territory. These meetings are part of a feasibility study which is currently being conducted. Meetings will be held as follows:
PUBLIC MEETINGS – ESTABLISHMENT OF DRAG CAR RACING
• Monday, June 14 – Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall (Road Town, Sea Cow’s Bay, Huntums’s Ghut, Belle View, Baugher’s Bay, Fish Bay, Lower Estate, Macnamara and surrounding areas)
• Tuesday, June 15 – West End Community Centre
• Wednesday, June 16 – Cane Garden Bay Community Centre
• Thursday, June 17 – East End/Long Look Community Centre (East End, Parham Town, Chapel Hill, Beef Island, Fat Hog’s Bay, Nottingham Estate, Little Dix Bay)
• Friday, June 18 – Ashford Waters Community Centre on Virgin Gorda
• Saturday, June 19 – Emile E. Dunlop Community Centre on Anegada
• Sunday, June 20 – Jost Van Dyke Primary School
