The Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour and the Conservation and Fisheries Department are inviting residents and visitors to the “Climate Change and the Virgin Islands Exhibit”, at the Central Administration Building in the East Atrium during the month of September.
The exhibit is intended to inform the public about climate change and the many serious implications it will have for life in The Virgin Islands.
Visitors can view costumes, artwork, listen to the Climate Change Theme Song in the form of a smooth reggae and calypso mix, and view a short film on climate change in the UK Overseas Territories, including the Virgin Islands.
Available at the exhibit are copies of the Climate Change Green Paper, climate change brochures, The Conservation and Fisheries Department newsletter Eye on the Environment, and the recently published British Virgin Islands Marine Awareness Guide Volume 2. Visitors can also collect reusable grocery bags that feature the official Climate Change Logo of the Virgin Islands.
