BVI Book: Snapshots of the Past

The Archives and Records Management Unit of the Deputy Governor’s Office is informing the public that the book, “Snapshots of the Past”, a special collection of rare Virgin Islands’ photographs is now available at a reduced cost of $20.00.

The book can be purchased from the Unit located upstairs the Burhym Electrical Services Building and the 1780 Lower Estate Sugar Works Museum located near the Red Cross Building and across the street from the Eslyn Henley-Richiez Learning Centre.

Photographs depicted in the book are maps, drawings, scenery, faces royal visits, architectural forms as well as community and official events.

Persons are encouraged to purchase a copy as it will make an authentic Virgin Islands’ Christmas gift for friends and family at home and abroad. The offer ends on December 31.
