The year is already speeding on, but the momentum didn’t stop for VIPY over Christmas and New Year as we prepared ourselves for a fruitful 2016. Now we’re looking to Valentine’s Day, next will be Spring Break and the abundance of yacht regattas, then the summer season.
We at VIPY believe the direction to take in these fast paced times we live in, is to sometimes take no action at all. Appreciate the moment. If possible, and this is a big ‘IF,’ put down the camera. Enjoy life and be grateful for what’s on offer – this should be especially easy if you’re living in or visiting the British Virgin Islands. Just glancing at what we have this issue, testifies to the countless amenities that inspire joy.

Our Reader Giveaway offers extravagance in a basket—literally—with the generous luxury experts Little Switzerland, while we get familiar with the lady that stole the show at the Readers’ Choice event last year – welcoming Amanda Georges and her aerial silk talent to the Artists’ Corner. Celebrating Valentine’s Day this month, Things We Love displays gifts to give to a loved one on this momentous occasion.
Introducing our new feature—Mixology Masters—a section that will profile the most popular and skilled bartenders of the Virgin Islands, we open with a man that doesn’t need announcing as he’s already a true showman – Christian ‘Xtian’ MacDonald.
And finally, our Virgin Islands Life photography piece parades event planning company Navanchor and their second elite soiree, Black Swan hosted at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS).
As always, hoping you relish this issue and that 2016 allows fulfilment of all your dreams.
