The annual event of the year is here!

VIPY RC 2016 kicks off the start of this month at 18:00 on Tuesday October 4 at Nanny Cay Beach Bar – we invite residents and visitors alike to this awards night to revel in the readers’ choice of the ‘best of the best’ not only in the British Virgin Islands, but the US Virgin Islands too!

For the first time ever, it’s a pleasure to welcome our sister isles into this measure of our audience’s favourites; we hope the results displayed in this issue assist both residents and visitors in finding their way to the most popular establishments and businesses within the respective categories.

In first feature of this special edition issue, aTec return for the third instalment in their ‘power revolution’ series. Teaming up with island neighbours CSC (Caribbean Solar Company), readers will recognise the distinctive benefits of solar power, if not to preserve the planet to at least preserve their bank balance.

BVI HomeSense presents sound advice about vacation rental renovation – the best time to do this in now while it is quiet before the high season kicks off later this month.

CaribSupply continue to deliver on maritime safety – a significant role when the island’s economy is strongly based in the ‘water.’ We reveal the products they have on offer for the industry.

BVI Maritime History Tales makes a plea for more records of those lost at sea – historical facts of the Territory appear difficult to acquire, but with a combined communal effort, we can pay homage to all who have contributed to the thriving country the BVI is today.

We catch up to our eco-pioneers Green VI and their latest initiatives to make the Virgin Islands environmentally-friendly, maintaining the region’s natural allure, and finally, beautiful charter yachts are on ostentatious exhibition in Virgin Islands Life.

Wishing you enjoyment of the LAND, SEA, and LIFE in the Virgin Islands
