Hello
The month of April brings VIPY to an alfresco episode in our annual line up, and there’s no better place than the tropical climate of the Virgin Islands to enjoy the outdoors.
We begin by climbing to the peak of the private Belmont estate in Tortola to visit the stunning, traditional St Bernard’s Hill House – a luxurious, hilltop property with an architectural design, that exhibits mastery over the pleasant breezes and outstanding views of the island. Take a look; this is a home of the finest calibre.
The Things We Love this issue parallels our alfresco theme with outdoor pieces for the interior of your home, adding an ‘earthy’ statement to your humble abode.
We also ask the question – what grows best in your garden? The Virgin Islands are known for having a plethora of plant life and excellent weather conditions for greenery, making gardening and landscaping a rewarding hobby and in the feature following, Habitat presents a home design idea matching spring’s vibrant mood.
Moving forward to our SEA section, we showcase three marinas that we love to visit when cruising the islands – YCCS, Nanny Cay, and Yacht Haven Grande; all very different and exceptional from the last.
BVI Maritime History Tales seeks out your support for maintenance of Virgin Islands’ heritage; sloops are an intricate part of our culture here and the ambition is to see existing sloops repaired, and enhancement of the Virgin Islands Maritime Museum.
Delish indulges in great cuisine; this time the menu presents Eggs Benedict with Sweet Potato Salmon Cake. Extremely tasty. And our Style & Beauty editor invigorates your fashion choices with some pristine selections while Creative Expressions reveals the watercolour expertise of Jinx Morgan; a well-known and skilled artist of our region.
Wishing you enjoyment of the LAND, SEA, and LIFE in the Virgin Islands.
