Seven Peaks

7 picturesque peaked lilac roofs just off Cane Garden Bay- the Seven Peaks villa. The pretty white frettwork trim completes the French Caribbean style. Nominated for Best use of Colour in the Stylish Spaces competition of Virgin Islands Property & Yacht.

Limeberry House

Hidden in the lush tropical foliage of Belmont in the West End of Tortola is Limeberry House – a wonderful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom west Indian style villa which offers complete privacy in a relaxing and charming environment.

The house is well-designed and a carefully-chosen collection of eclectic art adds to the character of this property, inside and out. It welcomes you with an open airy feeling and vivid Caribbean colours; blues, pinks and corals which replicate the sea views and dramatic sunsets seen from most areas.

Rhumb House

Rhumb House is a unique, privately owned 6-bedroom villa with a 2-bedroom guesthouse perched atop a private hill on almost 2 acres overlooking the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Boasting splendid panoramas and sumptuous seclusion, it is only a short distance from the airport, white sand beaches and the island capital. Offering a unique blend of luxury and natural beauty, this is the perfect place for a family vacation home, or a romantic retreat.

Golden Pavilion

An exceptional offering on Tortola, this lovely waterfront gem set on 4.214 acres is only a short walk from secluded Little Bay beach. The property enjoys stunning 180 degree ocean views.

This Balinese-inspired villa extends to over 6,000 square feet and includes 4 reception rooms, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths in the main with an additional one bedroom guest cottage. The property features a dramatic terrace with heated infinity edge pool, hot tub, outdoor fire grill and fully equipped gym.

Ridgemont

Ridgemont House sits high atop the divide between Long Bay and the Sir Francis Drake Channel providing expansive views of the Caribbean Sea and of the Atlantic Ocean that surround Tortola.

Calypso Delight

Vote for Calypso Delight in the Best use of Color category of the Stylish Spaces competition by the Virgin Islands Property and Yacht magazine and win cool prizes! Color selections have a huge impact on the feel of a space. I have included a couple before pictures here as well to further illustrate the impact of color on this home. The home owners requested Caribbean color, with sophistication. I pulled the color palette from the beautiful views around the home to help further the connection between inside and out. I am inspired everyday by the beauty that is the Virgin Islands!

Hotel California

Vote for Hotel California in the Best use of Color category of the Stylish Spaces competition by the Virgin Islands Property and Yacht magazine and win cool prizes! Hotel California was built by architect James S. O’Halloran in 1971 (it was then called Vagabond House), as a unique piece of architecture that combined local and Caribbean-wide styles of building. In repainting our property we tried to enhance this architecture with colour by using a variety of hues to emphasise the different structures in the compound. Thus, for instance, the Living Room at the east end is “Tutti FruttI” and the Bathroom at the west end is “Peachy Pink”, with a variety of other colorations in between. Inspired by “Crafts Alive” and “Soper’s Hole” we feel this combination of hues brings out the best in this unique property. We feel we are the “best choice to win the category”, because we have one of the very few residential properties that uses multiple Caribbean colours on its exterior.

Our thanks to Navindra Persaud for the painting, Paint Factory for the paint, and John F. Black for the drone photography.

South Watch

Settled within a tranquil neighborhood, South Watch is a sanctuary in a Caribbean paradise. It is evident upon first viewing that this home was created for relaxation. Painted with traditional pastel Caribbean colors, the charm of this home is enhanced by impeccable detail, characteristic of the late Michael Arneborg, architect.

The original building contains 2 ensuite bedrooms, living room, kitchen, screen porch dining and laundry. The front porch is a unique gathering place with views of Sir Francis Drake Channel, Sopers Hole Marina and the untouched mountains of St John’s National Park. To see the sun rise and set from this vantage point is majestic.

Urban V.I

Vote for Urban V.I in the Best use of Color category of the Stylish Spaces competition by the Virgin Islands Property and Yacht magazine and win cool prizes! Both colors on the walls were chosen to complement the black displays in store. The red is also a similar red in the logo of the store.

Judges will be looking for entire rooms or spaces (i.e. not just one aspect of a room), where the interior/exterior décor and decoration complement one another and deliver a cohesive creative statement: beautiful spaces that speak about their owners and the way they live/work.

Factors taken into consideration will include: color use, texture, use of space, creative ideas, composition, interior design, furniture, textiles, soft furnishings, fixtures, accessories, fittings, styling.

To be eligible for entry, homes/villas/commercial spaces must be lived in and fully furnished.
