Actor Michael Douglas  has deep family ties to the island, and he and his wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, have partnered with New York developer Seth G. Weinstein to reinvigorate the property and re-open it in 2017. With a focus on green energy use, the new Ariel Sands will also feature a freshwater pool, direct beach access for guests, and a top-notch salon and spa.

Owned by Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, you can vacation like a rock star in the Stargroves Villa. Hidden on the tiny island of Mustique in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the tropical property features seven elegant pavilions with plenty of space to relax, dine, and enjoy the beauty of the island.
